Initiatives of the Association協会の取り組み

The JSGCA holds regular events throughout the year,
We are committed to deepening interaction with all of our members.

定時総会

ordinary general meeting

In March, we will report on the association's activities over the year, vote on motions regarding the management of the association, and announce the planned activities for the following year. After the meeting, we invite prominent figures in the golf world (professional golfers, broadcasters, golf historians, photographers, etc.) to give lectures. The party afterwards is also well received.
Anyone is welcome to attend upon registration.

定時総会

board of directors

The Board of Directors meets approximately six times a year at the call of the Executive Director to discuss the following matters

  • Review of the contents and scheduling of each annual event and reporting of the results
  • Domestic and international information exchange
  • Consideration of response to inquiries to MISHOP
  • Consideration of training courses to be held
  • Exchange of opinions on future initiatives of the Association, etc.

定時総会

workshop

Four times a year, two courses (about 10 groups each) will play rounds at prestigious clubs and notable courses throughout Japan. The rules are based on the Stableford format, and after the round, there is a party where participants exchange impressions and opinions about the course design. At the end of the round, the winners and runners-up receive awards, making the training session a friendly and enjoyable one. We are planning to have the participants pay attention to the course and its design before the score. We also hold special training sessions once or twice a year.

定時総会

Seminar

As part of the association's efforts, seminars have been held in various formats in the form of discussion sessions based on the knowledge of designers to address issues that meet the needs of the times.
We will continue to plan the seminar as an opportunity to learn and enjoy the historical depth of "golf course design," as well as to provide reference for many people involved with golf courses, based on the experience and knowledge of MISHOP members, in terms of the direction, ideas, and concepts that should be addressed in addressing golf course issues. The seminar is planned as a seminar to be held by the association, based on the experience and knowledge of the association members.
