Born in Tokyo in 1949.
1972 (Showa 47): Joined Seibu Construction Civil Engineering Department.
In 1974, with the launch of the golf project (commissioned by Mr. R.T. Jones and Mr. Seiichi Inoue for design and instruction) within the group, he became involved in golf work as Mr. Inoue's exclusive assistant (age 24). In the same year, he was transferred to Seibu Golf Co.
For 8 years until Mr. Inoue passed away in 1981 during the construction of Ohara Oyado GC, he had his office near his home in Musashiseki, Nerima, where he was directly trained by Mr. Inoue in both his private and public life, from his course design philosophy to how to draw. During that time, he received course design guidance from Mr. Inoue at Seta GC (North) and Ohara Oyado GC. At the same time, he was involved in the planning, construction, and management of Hakodate Onuma Prince Golf Course, Ryuoh Golf Course, Hakone Kurakake (remodeled) Golf Course, and others.
In 1991, he became the head of the Golf Design Office and has been in charge of designing 11 courses.
