Biography

1948 Born in Hisai, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture (Ise Province).
1967 Joined DNC, a general construction company. Engaged in road, housing development, dam, and railroad construction.
1973 Started building golf courses. (Obtained qualifications as a first-class landscape architectural construction supervisor, first-class civil engineering construction supervisor, architect, supervisory engineer, and fire safety supervisor)
In 1973, he studied under the late Seiichi Inoue, one of Japan's leading golf course designers, and learned his design philosophy based on "creating golf courses rich in artistry in pursuit of beauty and harmony between nature, people, and golf.
I have also met many great designers and players (Mr. Kokichi Yasuda, Mr. Seizo Tomizawa, Mr. Robert T. Jones, Jr.
If given the opportunity, I would like to put everything I have cultivated to design and build a golf course that is earth-friendly, communicates with nature, and is rich in artistry in pursuit of beauty that will last into the future.
